Are You Looking to Get Involved By Volunteering at the pride center of maryland?
The PRIDE Center of Maryland volunteers assist staff with providing support with center operations, and logistical assistance for our in-house and special programs. Some of the roles volunteers may be responsible for include:
● Front Desk Support
● Helping Hands Clothing Closet | Every 4th Monday from 1 -5 PM in Room 3
● Family Game Night | Every 2nd Thursday from 6:30 – 9:30 PM in the The Center’s Lounge
● Giovanni’s Room | Every 1st Friday from 7 – 10 PM in Room 3
All Pride Center of Maryland volunteers are required to attend one session of our New Volunteer Orientation.
New Volunteer Orientation takes place on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM in The Center’s lounge.
New Volunteer Orientation provides community members with a brief history of The PRIDE Center of Maryland,
an overview of The Center’s program schedule, and a description of available volunteer opportunities.
Our volunteers commit to The PRIDE Center of Maryland’s values of not tolerating racism, transphobia, ableism,
fat-phobia, sexual harassment, or any other type of toxic behavior that may harm pr is deemed offensive to community members.
Corporate companies, groups of five or more, and large organizations we ask that you do not complete our volunteer application. Please call the center at (410) 777-8145 or email email@example.com to schedule an appointment for volunteer training. Volunteer training occurs weekdays between 10 AM – 6 PM.
